Consultations
The consultation takes place only after appointment and happens at the private office, located on the Avenue Alfred Solvay, 13 at 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort.
There is no secretary on site, but you can reach the telesecretary via the number +32 2 675 75 35 every working day, from 8 am to 6 pm.
If you are already a patient, you can get an appointment online (24/7) or by phone +32 2 675 75 35.
At the time of the consultation, you are kindly asked to bring:
- Your ID card
- 4 stickers of your Belgian health security system
- Your health insurance documents
- Documents concerning your medical history, useful for your care
New patient
If you have never consulted Dr Swimberghe, you are invited to contact the secretary from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 10 am and between 2 pm to 4 pm. A longer range is provided for a first consultation in order to allow a longer discussion time and a complete evaluation.
The secretary will register you and will be able to offer you an appointment.
Then, a password will be sent to you, which will allows you to book an appointment online in the future.
Schedule
Consultations are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:40 am to 7:00 pm. Wednesdays and Fridays are often reserved for scheduled interventions at the hospital (surgery, scheduled caesarean section, hysterography…).
General information
If your appointment does not involve an emergency, the delay may be relatively long, as Dr Swimberghe keeps blocked time slots to interpose urgent cases.
If your call concerns an urgent problem, the secretary will take note and will come back to you to propose an appointment within a short time.
Once you have an appointment, you will be asked to stay reachable on the day of your appointment. Sometimes the doctor has to leave the office at the last minute, for an emergency or a delivery at the hospital. In this case, you will be contacted as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.
If you would like to cancel your appointment, please do so no later than 24 hours before by phone or online (no cancellation possible by texting or email).
If you do not present yourself at the meeting, a compensation of 30 euros will be charged.
Payment of the consultation is made on site, in cash or via Bancontact (credit cards are not accepted).
